摘要

The paper determines the anomalous magnetic moment and Lamb energy levelshift in the second order of the perturbation theory using the algorithm ofself-energy expression regularization in quantum electrodynamics that meets therelativistic and gauge invariance requirements; the comparison is made to theassociated conventional quantum electrodynamics results. A limiting 4-impulsewith an infinitely large temporal component and limited value of spatialcomponents that depend quite weakly on the Dirac particle impulse variation isintroduced within the algorithm. The answer in regard to the agreement between the experimental data andresults of the calculations by the algorithm of this paper will be given by thecalculations of the next order of the perturbation theory which are beingplanned for the nearest future.
